If you eat large amounts of definite foods, you may

develop urticaria.

In chronic urticaria, the patient may feel better

after taking aspirin, drinking alcohol, smoking.

After acute urticaria has disappeared, it is

necessary to stop all drugs.

The first sign of urticaria is itching and swelling

on the skin.

Tests are not helpful both in acute and chronic

urticaria.

Acute urticaria lasts for about a week.

Acute urticaria is caused by drugs, foods,

injections, insect bites, etc.

In 50% of patients chronic urticaria disappears

within a period of two years.

Urticaria may be a sign of an infectious disease.

Oral administration of antihistamines is not

advised.
