they like to  print out an email or use paper-based notes to study, they need to print out everything

they like to have instant feedback and reward, for example getting the results or grades right after completing a test or exam and receiving a reward for good results and not wait several days to get them

If they get lost somwhere they prefer always using their mobile apps (GPS) or web-based programs (Google maps) rather than asking someone in the street

they like to see and touch things first before they buy them, for example they try new clothes on before they decide to buy them

they like to read from paper-based magazines and traditional newspapers and watch the news on TV (or radio)

Push technology - they turn the TV on and watch a program on a TV set while sitting on the sofa sometimes with other family members

they prefer paralell processing and multi-tasking (watching a movie while chatting, posting on instagram or text-messaging simultaneously)

they need to be hyperconnected (mobile, social media, etc), they can't get out of their house without a mobile phone

they think technology is actually preventing students from learning appropriately and has negative effects (attention deficit, mistakes, etc)

they like to use smileys and abbeviated texting and instant message short-hand such as: “OMG", "c u”, “how r u”, “becoz”

Pull technology - they prefer wacthing alone their favorite series on a laptop or tablet (Netflix, HBO, etc) often using headphones in their room  

they are intuitive learners, they do while the learn (program or application tells them what do to or how to use something)

they are logical learners, need to read first and find out the reasons or instructions for everything
