Your externship semester is scheduled for two semesters after Culinary Fundamentals/Baking Techniques.

There are no prerequisites for the course of Externship.

When applying for Externships, it is recommended that you apply to only one site, then wait for a definitive answer from that one location before applying to other sites.

The course of Externship requires that you work for a minimum of 14 weeks or 550 hours of full-time employment at one site that has been approved by the CIA to host externs.

You are responsible for confirming that your selected site is an

approved CIA Externship in Culinary Connect before accepting a

position.
