Interlobular bile ducts are the branches of the bile duct system that supply the lobules of the liver. They are a continuation of the bile canaliculi.

Tiny, intercellular channels that form a network between adjacent liver cells (hepatocytes) to collect bile. They act as the initial pathway for bile flow, transporting it toward the bile ductules, which eventually drain into the gallbladder.

Hepatic plates are one-to-two-cell-thick radiating layers of hepatocytes (liver cells) that form the structural framework of the liver lobule.
