You cannot edit the code of a recorded macro in the VBA editor. 

A Function can contain loops and conditional statements, just like a Sub.

Recorded macros use absolute references by default, unless you explicitly choose relative references

A variable declared at the top of a module using Dim has module-level scope and can be used by any procedure within that module.
