The

members of the Executive Council are individually and collectively accountable

to the provincial legislature.

The

Premier’s term is limited to two terms of five years each.

An

acting Premier can be in office for a maximum of 30 days after which a new

Premier must be elected.

The

Premier cannot be removed from office by a motion of no confidence but can only

resign.
