I have a friend who’s always borrowing from me. I normally don’t mind, but the last time she borrowed an expensive fan. When she returned it to me, I turned it on and it didn’t work. I have no real proof that she broke it, but I know that it was working perfectly when I last used it. I feel very uncomfortable telling her, but it was an expensive fan. I really don’t want to lend her anything else and I’m worried about what I’m going to say the next time she asks.
