Median of medians will always obtain the median as the pivot in O(N) time.

Median of medians will require each group to have the number of items be in multiples of 5 as it would need to break into smaller lists of size 5.

Groups of 5 are what give the linear-time guarantee; with groups of 3 the algorithm is no longer linear.

Median of medians is a recursive algorithm that would partition the list into 4 regions.

As presented in the course notes, median of medians is not an in-place algorithm.
