The Library Lawn clock was designed by a student after University asked for submissions for an ‘Unbreakable’ clock. Never tell Mechanical Engineering students that something is unbreakable – a rope tied around the hands when they’re close together will apparently do the trick.

Back in my first year, I used to lie down in the lawn and sleep there at night because there was a really specific patch of grass that I would always be on but one day UNSW got so mad at me they decided to build that statue over there and no patch of grass has ever hit the same. 

There is a fancy restaurant at the top of the Main Library that only staff and postgraduate students can access 

Cafe Brioso used to just be the coffee cart but they've been so successful recently that they opened up another branch right across the lawn. 

Morven Brown recently upgraded their study spaces and is now a great place for students to lock-in
