Covid-19 had a severe impact on

global supply chains. This forced organisations to change their purchasing

habits. Anne’s Armband shop, situated in Durban RSA, was also impacted by the

pandemic since she orders some of her “Blue Bedazzled” arm bands directly from

the UK. She needs to determine when she should order these armbands to ensure

that she does not run out of stock for Valentine’s day.

Currently she sells 7 arm bands per

day, and the arm bands take approximately 12 days to arrive in Durban. Prior to

the pandemic, Anne decided to have at least 17 armbands in her store room, in case
