Stop sea water pump (also known as ejector pump).

Stop fresh water pump.

After the machine is completely stopped, close the drain/ un-loader.

Change the switch to manual position on the switch board

Close the jacket water inlet valves. Generally inlet is closed first and then the outlet valve.

Check the engine speed

Switch off the salinometer.

Check the lube oil in the crankcase sump by means of a dipstick or sight glass

Put drain in open position.
