More is More: A one-page design should be crammed with as much information as possible, using small fonts and dense text blocks to ensure everything fits. 

No Hierarchy or Structure: All elements on the page should be presented with equal weight and importance, as there's not enough space for organization. 

Neglect Visuals: Since it's just one page, there's no need to invest in strong visuals. Text alone will suffice.

Place the most important content above the fold, and lead users down the page when there is more content to see that relates to the above fold entry.

Emphasise the unique value your site brings to your users, as well as how it differentiates from competitors
