38-year-old man is brought to the Accident & Emergency (A&E) following involvement in a motor vehicle accident. He was the driver of the motorcycle

and got hit by a car. He complains of severe abdominal and pelvic pain.

Clinical examination reveals an extensive ecchymosis in the perineal region,

and fresh blood is visible at the urethral meatus. A retrograde urethrogram is

performed, and the dye's leakage indicates a urethral tear at the

point where the urethra enters the bulb of the penis.
