Once the message has been transcribed, the protein synthesis can happen

on the ribosomes present in the Endoplasmic Reticulum.

The Golgi apparatus is the site of protein synthesis where the LDL

receptor is synthesized.

Once the LDL receptors are present on the cell membrane, they can bind

LDL particles. Both the LDL particles and the LDL receptors are broken down

once they reach the lysosomes.

The instruction for making the LDL receptor molecule (which is a type of

protein) first comes from the DNA, which is situated in the nucleus.

The Golgi apparatus

is responsible for protein packaging and trafficking. It is also a site where

post-translational modifications of LDL receptors occur, such as glycosylation

of the protein, before the receptor is transported to the cell membrane.
