Rules of Occupational Health and Safety Course

for students of first and second cycle studies at Lodz University of Technology.

After reading the Rules, in order to accept them, click on the "Accept" button, then "Save" and "Confirm all and finish".

The Rules can be viewed multiple times.

General information:

-        The OHS course is compulsory for first and second cycle students of all modes (full-time and part-time) at Lodz University of Technology,

-        The OHS course ends with a test,

-        the total length of the OHS Course including the test is 4 hours.

Course format:

- The OHS course consists of six modules presented in eight videos:

1. LEGAL ASPECTS
2. SAFETY RULES AT TUL
3. FIRST AID
4. FIRE HAZARDS
5. HAZARDS: MECHANICAL  
                       ELECTRICAL
                       CHEMICAL
6. PSYCHOSOCIAL HAZARDS

-        the student is obliged to watch entire film material,  

-        the student must answer the questions in the film correctly to successfully complete viewing the film,

-        if the student moves on to another activity before finishing the video, he will fail to complete the video and will have to watch it again, 

-        it is possible to move between the videos using the Previous/Next Activity buttons or via the side menu of the OHS Course,

-        the student cannot fast-forward films,   

-        the student has the option to pause the video and rewind it in 10-second sequences,

-        the OHS Course may be interrupted after viewing any number of videos and may be continued at a later date, 

-        videos that have already been viewed will not need to be played again,

-        playing the same video again is possible, but this action overwrites the previously obtained result in the gradebook,

-        after watching the entire film material (8 videos), the student can start solving the test. 

Final test:

-        after playing the entire film material (8 videos), access to the test is automatically activated,

-        the student starts doing the test by "clicking" on the link "OHS test",

-        the condition for completing the OHS Course with a positive result is obtaining min. 60% of correct answers from the test,

-        after the deadline for completing the OHS Course, access to it will be blocked.

The condition for starting the test is the acceptance of the above Rules.
