You must wear the safety glasses.

It is ok if you just hold the safety glasses.

It is your decision as to whether you wear the glasses.

You must wear the safety glasses or your sunglasses, if you have them.

You must wear the safety glasses unless you already wear vision correcting glasses.

Simply report this ‘near miss’ to a staff member, as the incident is not serious enough to require a report.

Reprimand the person responsible for the item falling off the bench.

Report this 'near miss' to a staff member and submit an OHS Hazard and Incident Report online, because all ‘near misses’ must be reported.

Simply pick up the item and replace it on the bench; since there was no injury, there is no necessity to report the incident.

Drink some coffee before class, because it will wake/sober you up.

Attend class anyway, it is safe for you to do so.

Do not attend your class.

Wait until you feel sober, and then join your team members half-way through the class. 

Carefully use the equipment, and experiment with how to use it safely.

Ask a TA to show you how to use the equipment safely.

Don't use the equipment, instead ask your team member to use it for you.
