The LCR/ESR meter can also be used as a multimeter. There are a separate set of leads for this function. The black lead is to be connected to terminal 20 and the red lead is to be connected to terminals 22 or 25 depending on the type of measurement.
In order to measure the resistance of a resistor using the LCR meter in the diagram below, what sequence of actions must be performed to facilitate measurement?
i. Ensure that the appropriate cables are connected to the LCUR LPOT HCUR HPOT terminals.
ii. Power on the LCR/ESR meter.
iii. Press and release L/C/Z/DCR Function key a few times until the primary display turns to DCR.
iv. Press and release D/Q/θ/ESR Function key a few times until the secondary display turns to ESR.
v. Attach the clips to the end of the device that is to be measured.
