De facto, ao longo de todo o semestre, estivemos a interagir com um SO GNU/Linux através de uma shell, mais especificamente a bash - a B ourne A gain SH ell (que é um clone da shell original UNIX B ourne SH ell
- bsh ) que temos sempre acesso por defeito/omissão em qualquer distribuição Linux. Mais concretamente utilizamos a distribuição Linux chamada Raspbian sobre uma plataforma computacional muito peculiar, do tamanho de um cartão de crédito e com um custo aproximado de 10€: um Raspberry Pi 1 B+; de facto, o Raspbian é uma distribuição Debian (re-)compilada para os processadores ARMv6 que equipa o SoC do Raspberry Pi 1 B+. Mas o que aqui realmente interessa perceber é o porquê de termos estudarmos a bash, que se deve ao facto de esta ser:
