The students at Prince College were concerned about the scourge of human trafficking affecting both the college and the surrounding community. They wanted to educate the public and students about human trafficking and its prevention. The members of the Department of Student Support Committee (DSSC) at Prince College, together with the members of the Student Representative Council (SRC) took an initiative to raise awareness about this crime. They held a special meeting to discuss launching an awareness campaign against human trafficking. Participants were expected to propose strategies for preparing the campaign and suggest activities to educate students about the problem and how to protect themselves. Dr Komape, the Chairperson of the Department of Student Support Committee, three other committee members, including the Secretary, and three SRC members attended the meeting.
