Databases often allow you to export / download bibliographical information about articles in a range of file formats - it is important that you select the correct Endnote import filter to read it correctly

New references can only be created by manually typing information into the appropriate fields

You can search for journal articles indexed within the PubMed database from within EndNote

Endnote can only read bibliographical information exported from a database (e.g. PubMed) if they are a plain text file type (e.g. a .txt file)
