The interpreter writes everything down in the persons own language. 

The interpreter gives a localised description based on their own knowledge and skills of the topic

The interpreter does not omit, add to or alter the sense or meaning of what the person has said

The interpreter checks in on the other person and fills in the gaps of what they already know
