Hands must be washed after completing the laboratory work, before leaving the laboratory.

When using any rotating machinery, tie back long hair, remove jewellery and do not wear loose clothing. All of these may get caught in moving machine parts.

Laboratory gloves can be worn out of the laboratories but must be discarded within one hour of leaving the laboratory.
