A patient falls off a horse and is brought to the hospital. She is very unwell, found to have blood in the abdomen on ultrasound, and is taken for an emergency abdominal surgery. She is found to have a ruptured spleen causing massive haemorrhage, so the surgeon plans to place a clamp onto the splenic artery to control the bleeding. Unfortunately the surgeon has a "mental blank" and forgets which peritoneal fold the splenic artery runs in! Can you help the surgeon remember?
